Please refer SalafiTalk for further updates regarding both the visits and learn from these Scholars who are recommended by some of the Seniormost Salafee Scholars of our era. May Allaah make the stay of the mashaykh comfortable and enable the people in the west to benefit from their knowledge, wisdom and manners. Aameen.
Sometimes a Graduate is the Most Ignorant of People
A very good reminder for us in the West not to be impressed with the degrees of the people in the arena of da’wah.
Be weary of the speakers who are not known to the senior scholars of Ahlus Sunnah or they are not known to be from those who would sit with the people of knowledge or keep in contact with them.
What’s even worse are those speakers, may Allah guide them, who try to take the youth away from the senior scholars and establish themselves as the scholars of the land like what has happened with many here in the west. Allahul musta’aan.
Sometimes a Graduate is the Most Ignorant of People
By Ash-Shaykh Salih Al-Fawzan (may Allah preserve him)
Question: If a person wants to teach people Islam, is having a degree from a university enough or must he have a tazkiyah from a scholar as well?
Answer: He must have knowledge. Everyone who graduates with a degree doesn’t become a person of knowledge. What’s required is to have knowledge and understanding of Allah’s religion. Degrees don’t prove that a person has knowledge. Sometimes the most ignorant of people possess degrees. And at other times there are people without degrees, who are the most knowledgeable of people.

An Amazing Knowledge-Based Suprise for your Ramadhan
Alhamdulillaah it is a pleasure to publish this very important book. For the first time in the English language we have a reliable book discussing this topic. Authored by a mountain of knowledge.
About the Author:
Sheikh Abdulmuhsin al-`Abbaad is one of those few scholars who many scholars refer to him as their teacher. He is the former president of the Islamic University Madeenah, and was the first person who held the first class when the University was opened! and has since been teaching there for the past 50 years.!!
He also still has regular lectures at the Prophetic Masjid -where he recently finished his explanation on the 6 major books of hadeeth-. May Allaah bless the sheikh and elongate his life [he is almost 80 years]!
About the Book:
The topic of the book is critical.
So many have expressed their beliefs and opinions on this topic: those who say it is an innovation in Islam, those who say it is `symbolism’, the conspiracy theorists and their theories, those who have out-rightly rejected it!
And as such, do not be shaken by the whims and doubts.
This book expounds –with some detail- the correct belief [with proofs], and also refutes & responds to the common allegations of those who have wrong belief in this issue.
Enlighten yourself with authentic knowledge.
The book is available, to order send your request to bookrdrs

Islamic Games for Ramadhaan
As salaamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
It’s been quite long since I’ve posted anything. After shaykh Salim’s visit, things have been quite busy with family members visiting and preparation for Ramadhaan.
Now that I have a smartphone, it’ll be much easier to review and reply to comments and make quick short posts inshaAllah. The cell phone technology is amazing subhanAllah and it’s mind boggling what we are capable of just with a cell phone. Anywayz that’s a side topic 😉
I have been tasked by my local masjid to come up with some games for the teens/kids for the weekends in ramadhaan. Not just the last 10 days but even before that.
So I wanted to reach out to all of you if you have seen any successful games where they not just learn something beneficial in the deen but also have fun learning it.
I will be preparing an Islamic jeopardy game with different categories. Once it’s complete I’ll post the file here so others can use it as well.
If anyone has any ideas, please share.
BarakAllahu feekum. 🙂
