Allâh says (what means), “The night of Al-Qadr (Decree) is better than a thousand months (i.e. worshipping Allâh in that night is better than worshipping Him a thousand months, i.e. 83 years and 4 months).” (Al-Qadr 97:3)
“The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the Way of Allâh, is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains. Allâh gives manifold increase to whom He pleases. And Allâh is All-Sufficient for His creatures’ needs, All-Knower.” (Al-Baqarah 2:261)
Just imagine the returns if you give 1 Dinar or 1$ sincerely in the way of Allâh on laylatul qadr! Suppose you give 1$ every night in these last 10 nights of Ramadhaan you would have spent 10$. And the returns are much more than:-
1*7*100*1000*30 + 9*7*100 = 21,006,300 (Yes in words that’s much more than 21 million!!!)
The more you’ll give with ikhlaas (sincerity) the more you’ll get. Verily, Allâh never breaks His Promise.” (Aali Imran 3:9).

It’s summer time and it’s getting hot. Make sure to keep yourself well hydrated to reduce the risk of a heat stroke and avoid staying in the sun for long periods of time.
Another thing this heat should remind us of is the Hellfire and its blazing heat. So listen to this translated khutbah by Shaykh Abdul Razzaq al Badr hafidahullah.
Note: New window will open and the lecture will begin playing automatically inshaAllah
As salaamu alaikum wa rahmatullah:
Abu Huraira (radiallahu anhu) narrates that once a group of people came to the Messenger of Allah (sallahu alayhi wasallam) and asked: “We experience such evil thoughts that it is impossible to bring them on our lips”. The Messenger of Allah (sallahu alahi wasallam) said: “Do you really experience these thoughts? Yes, they replied. The Messenger of Allah (sallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “They are clear signs of faith”. (Sahih Muslim).
Ibn Abbas said“Sometimes I experience such thoughts that I would rather be reduced to charcoal than get them on my lips” (meaning that to speak of these thoughts was worse than burning in fire, m). The Messenger of Allah (sallahu alayhi wasallam) said: “All praise is to Allah who restricted the devil’s designs to mere evil promptings”. (Sunan Abu Dawud,)
The above two narrations Cleary show that it is not unusual to have these evil thoughts neither is one more sinful or evil due to them. Even some Companions of the Messenger of Allah received these thoughts, as we have seen in the above narrations.
Therefore, one should not be worried on their account or feel sad and deterred, for these thoughts are signs of faith.
Some scholars have explained this by saying that a robber or thief only strikes at a place where he knows that there is wealth or money. He would not break into a place where there is no wealth. Similarly, when the devil (shaytan) whispers and puts these evil thoughts into anyone’s heart, then this shows that this person has the wealth of faith (iman) in his heart. If there was no wealth in that heart, Shaytan would have never entered it, thus one should not worry about these evil thoughts rather repel them with the remembrance of Allah.
In these last few days and nights left in the month of Ramadhaan, I wanted to share a beautiful lecture given by Shaykh Saalim at-Taweel explaining the tremendous du’a below. This is one of the best lectures I have ever heard mashaAllah. It will surely increase not just your understanding of this du’a but also your emaan.

Most Superior way of asking for Forgiveness from Allah
The Messenger of Allaah may peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him said :
Indeed the major supplication for forgiveness is to say
fainnahu la yaghfiru ath-thunooba illa anta[ Sahih Bukhari Vol.8 Hadith no:318]
O Allaah You are my Lord, there is none worthy of worship in truth except You, You created me and
I am Your slave and I am abiding to Your covenant and promise as best as I can, I seek refuge in You
from the evil that I have committed, I profess to you my sins and I acknowledge Your favour upon me,
so forgive me verily no one forgives sins except you.
So if the worshipper says this when the morning arrives, truly believing init and he dies enters Paradise,
and if he says this when the evening arrives truly believing in it enters Paradise.
