    Asalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah,

I am lsning to this lecture masha’ Allah. I wanted to know if you knew… there are two hadith. One saying that the prophet salllalahu alayhi wa sallam never prayed more than 11 raka’aat at night. Another saying that he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam used to pray 13 raka’aat at night, making 5 of them witr… How can reconcile these 2 ahaadith?

    Asalamu Alaikum again,
I lsned more to the lecture and the speaker said the strongest opinions are 11 or 13. I usually hear people saying that the max. is 11… but shouldn’t we say it can also be up to 13?
